Discover this summer the most idyllic beaches of Cádiz

This summer, stay at La Gitanilla and you will be able to enjoy more than 260 kilometres of coastline just one hour away.

The province of Cadiz offers you stunning beaches bathed by the Atlantic Ocean where you can enjoy the sun, our gastronomy, culture and a wide range of activities that will make your stay in our accommodation be remembered with a smile on your face.

If I had to choose one of our beaches, it would be difficult because each of them has its own charm.

Even so, if you ask me which one is my favourite, I would say Germans’ beach, located between Zahara de los Atunes and Faro de Camarinal, this beach is a corner of natural beauty and tranquillity. A perfect spot if you are looking for a more intimate and serene place to enjoy the sun and the sea. Watching the sunset from this beach is a privileged experience that you should not miss if you visit us.

Without going any further, another of the beaches that I can recommend is Zahara de los Atunes Beach. You can enjoy a landscape of golden sands and turquoise waters, ideal for long walks and water sports. This destination is especially popular with surfers and kitesurfers due to its wind and swell conditions. In addition, the gastronomic offer is excellent, with numerous restaurants serving the famous red almadraba tuna.

Another of my favourites is, without a doubt, Bolonia Beach, located near the town of Tarifa, a true natural paradise that combines history and nature in an unparalleled setting. This beach is famous for its natural dunes which have been declared a Natural Monument. Here you will also find the ruins of the ancient city of Baelo Claudia adding a perfect cultural touch in the middle of nature. A totally unspoilt beach that you will never forget.

If what you want is fun and sport, your beach is Valdevaqueros in Tarifa. This coastal town is known worldwide as one of the best places for kitesurfing and windsurfing. With its strong winds and kilometres of beach, Valdevaqueros attracts kitesurfers and windsurfers from all over the world as well as professionals of both sports. In addition to its ideal conditions for the sport, this beach offers a lively and youthful atmosphere, with beach bars where you can enjoy the local gastronomy and live music.

And if I told you that you can go to paradise, would you believe me? We have it in our province and it is El Palmar Beach, located between Conil and Vejer. Considered the cradle of surfing in Cadiz, it is one of our beaches whose waves and surfing atmosphere will intoxicate you from the moment you arrive. Its sunsets are spectacular and if you are looking for fun, you have it guaranteed.

If you are looking for a family beach, I recommend La Barrosa Beach, located in Chiclana de la Frontera and only 40 minutes away from La Gitanilla. It is considered one of the best beaches in our country and has more than 8 kilometres of fine sand and crystal clear waters. This beach is perfect for families due to its calm waters and its wide range of services.

And if you prefer something closer, about 20 minutes away you have the famous Victoria Beach, located in the capital of the province. At 3 kilometres long, this beach has a wide range of services and amenities, including a promenade, sports areas and a variety of bars and restaurants. La Victoria is ideal for those looking to enjoy a day at the beach without straying far from the comforts of the city.

Another option you can consider during your stay is to enjoy such spectacular and privileged enclaves as Fuente del Gallo, Calas de Roche, Cala del Aceite cove or Cala de Arroyo Cañuelo cove.

As you can see, choosing the perfect beach in our province is an almost impossible task. And the fact is that the Cadiz coastline is a true natural treasure unique in Spain that you should explore during your stay.

From La Gitanilla we invite you to discover the most hidden and beautiful corners of our beaches, staying in our facilities during your holidays because you will be only one hour away from these idyllic beaches and you can combine your days at the beach with visits to our most famous wineries, visit the Royal School of Equestrian Art or enjoy a summer evening on our terrace.
